What is MESPA

MESPA is a Spanish mining company, with an Australian shareholder, Elementos Limited, which is listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX: ELT). Elementos focuses on the development of tin projects internationally, including the historic Cleveland tin mine in Tasmania, Australia.

Elementos also owns an option of 50% in the Spanish tin smelting company Iberian Smelting SLU, which together with the Oropesa tin project will provide integrated tin supply from mine to final product for Spain and the European Union.

The company has a multidisciplinary team with experience in geology, engineering and mining project development, which allows it to approach each initiative with a solid technical foundation and long-term planning.

Our activity is carried out using the best modern open-pit mining techniques, incorporating efficiency in waste and ore movement, safety, early rehabilitation and rectification, and environmental sustainability criteria from the earliest design phases, integrating restoration and mitigation measures in collaboration with specialized entities. Within this framework, MESPA drives the Oropesa Project in the province of Córdoba as one of its main initiatives, linked to industrial development of local communities and its entire surroundings.
